Dorothy Louise (Kee) Davis

Dorothy Louise Kee Davis, age 68, resident of Mason, Tennessee and wife of Jeffery “Jeff” Davis, departed this life Saturday morning, December 23, 2023 at her home.

Dorothy was born January 13, 1955 in Somerville, the daughter of the late Franklin Eugene Kee, Sr. and Doris Ophelia Williams Kee. She graduated from Fayette County High School and was married April 7, 1973 to Jeffery “Jeff” Davis. Mrs. Davis was employed as a pharmacy tech for over 20 years at Sam’s Club in the Bartlett/Wolfchase area before her retirement.

Dorothy was a member of Feathers Chapel Baptist Church near Somerville and she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved her dog, Booger, and enjoyed genealogy, horses and going to horse shows, camping trips, traveling, sightseeing and riding around the family farm and helping and caring for family and other friends.

Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jeff Davis; two sons, David Eugene Davis (Tina) and Greg Morris Davis (Mylinda); five grandchildren, Justin Eugene Davis, Nicholas Rhett Davis, Alexandria Renee Davis, Alyssa Parrott and Tyler Parrott (Savannah); and four great-grandchildren, Jayce Davis, Caden Parrott, Ryker Parrott and Sarina Ferguson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Rhonda Kee Tillman and two brothers, Franklin Kee, Jr. and Gary Kee.

A visitation for Mrs. Davis will be from 12 noon until 1 P.M. Thursday, December 28, 2023 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland. Funeral Services will be at 1 P.M. Thursday, December 28, 2023 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Bro. David Reeves, pastor of Midway Baptist Church in Whiteville, officiating.
