Edna Adell (Brown) Green

Edna Adell Brown Green, resident of Collierville and wife of the late Ferrell Ray Green, departed this life Sunday afternoon, September 14, 2014 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis. She was 84 years of age and died following an illness of three months.
Services and Interment for Mrs. Green were private. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - West Chapel at Oakland.
Mrs. Green was born April 16, 1930 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Brown and Iona Blaylock Brown. She received her education in the Pulaski County, Arkansas Public School System and was married March 24, 1956 to Ferrell Ray Green. Mr. Green preceded her in death on January 25, 2010.
Mrs. Green was of the Lutheran faith and was a resident of the Collierville area for 36 years. She was a homemaker throughout her life and enjoyed sewing, gardening and preparing food for her family.
Mrs. Green is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Lee of Cordova; her son, Jeff Green of Memphis; and two grandchildren.
