Elizabeth Lorin (Markham) Crowder

Elizabeth Lorin Markham Crowder, age 48, resident of Oakland, Tennessee and wife of Larry Crowder, departed this life Thursday, May 18, 2023 at her home.

Elizabeth was born August 7, 1974 in Tallahassee, Florida, the daughter of Vera Bullard Roberts and the late Kenneth Markham. She was a homemaker throughout her life and a loving mother, wife and grandmother. She had an artistic soul and enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.

Elizabeth is survived by her husband of 30 years, Larry Crowder; her daughter, Kelsie Crowder; her son, Corey Crowder (Brooke); her mother, Vera Roberts (William Alan Roberts); her sister, Kelly VanCleve (Andy); her brother, Jay Markham (Sharon); and two grandchildren, Cassius and NoraJean Crowder.

A visitation for Mrs. Crowder will be from 12 to 1 P.M. Friday, May 26, 2023 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland. Graveside Services will be at 2 P.M. Friday, May 26, 2023 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Bartlett with Dr. Ken Culver, pastor of Warren Community Church in Somerville, officiating.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be James Markham, Jamie Markham, Andy VanCleve, Myles VanCleve, Kelsie Crowder and Corey Crowder.
