Elizabeth Ann (Tice) Heaton

July 16, 1940 — August 6, 2016

Elizabeth Ann Tice Heaton, age 76, resident of Grand Junction and wife of Rondall Wayne "Ron" Heaton, departed this life Saturday evening, August 6, 2016 at the Methodist LeBonheur Germantown Hospital.

Services of Remembrance for Mrs. Heaton were conducted at 5 P.M. Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at the Oak Grove Baptist Church in Moscow with Bro. Bobby Wililams, pastor of the Hickory Grove Baptist Church in Moscow, officiating. Interment followed in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - Main Chapel in Somerville.

Mrs. Heaton was born July 16, 1940 in Moscow, Tennessee. She received her education in the Fayette County Public School System and was a resident of Grand Junction since 1990. She was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church in Moscow and was employed as a waitress at the Junction Inn Restaurant in Grand Junction before her retirement. Mrs. Heaton enjoyed watching television and special times with her family members and friends.

Mrs. Heaton is survived by her husband, Rondall Wayne “Ron” Heaton of Grand Junction; five sons, Vince Mills (Samantha) of Arlington, TN, Wendell Mills (Liz) of Bartlett, Michael Mills (Dana) of Somerville, Patrick Mitchell (Crystal) of Grand Junction, Eric Heaton (Jamie) of Columbus, MS; her brother, Billy Tice of Moscow; nine grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Wesley Tice and Elizabeth McClure Tice; her sister, May Henry Allen; five brothers, Luther Tice, Jimmy Tice, Paul Tice, Duecey Tice, Gene Tice; and her grandson, Raymond Mills.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers were Vince Mills, Michael Mills, Wendell Mills, Patrick Mitchell, Chris Mills and Dustin Mills.

The family requests that memorials be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Department 142, Memphis, TN 38148.
