Frances Ann Napper James Antle

Frances Ann Napper James Antle, age 95, resident of Somerville, Tennessee and wife of the late Kenneth W. Antle, departed this Monday morning, April 1, 2024 at her home.

Frances was born August 31, 1928 in Ashland, Mississippi, the daughter of the late Bee Napper and Annie Stewart Napper. She was self-employed in janitorial services for many years and enjoyed gardening and cooking.

Mrs. Antle is survived by her daughter, Pamela Ann Hazel (Raymond) of Bartlett, TN; three sons, Billy Joy James (Pat) of Nesbit, MS, David Phillip James (Linda) of Rossville, TN and Michael Lynn James of Somerville, TN; two stepchildren, Rodger Antle of Dallas, TX and Deedee Antle of Oakland, TN; nine grandchildren, Joseph James of Somerville, TN, Terry James of Somerville, TN, Trey Summers (Rachel) of Bartlett, TN, Carl James of Starkville, MS, Kevin James of Nesbit, MS, Jennifer Shedd (Jerry) of Bartlett, TN, Heather James of Rossville, TN, Brent James of Williston, TN and Heath James of Williston, TN; and twelve great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Ronnie James; two sisters, Mary Frances “Sis” Hardin and Mildred Turner; and three brothers, Roy Napper, Buddy Napper and Randall Napper.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Antle were held at 11:30 A.M. Friday, April 5, 2024 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Michael James of The Gathering Place in Oakland, officiating. The eulogy was given by Terry James. Interment followed in Memorial Gardens Cemetery on Germantown Road in Bartlett.
