Frances Joy Reed Neal, age 81, resident of the Braden Community and wife of Jack Neal, departed this life Saturday morning, August 4, 2018 at the St. Francis Hospital in Bartlett.
A Graveside Service for Mrs. Neal was held at 3 P.M. Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Mason. The officiating minister will be Rev. Kevin Twisdale, pastor of Ebenezer Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Gainesville, Tennessee.
Mrs. Neal was born June 18, 1937 in Shelby County, Tennessee. She was a graduate of Bolton High School in Arlington, Tennessee and was married November 25, 1958 to Jack Neal. She was a member of the Braden United Methodist Church, where she loved to sing, and was a homemaker throughout her life. Mrs. Neal enjoyed gardening, sewing, baking, listening to Elvis music and special times with her family members and friends.
Mrs. Neal is survived by her husband, Jack Neal of Braden, TN; her daughter, Belinda Webb of Mason, TN; her son, Carl Reed of Mason, TN; three grandchildren, Jamison Webb Pulliam (Denton) of Arlington, TN, Erika Webb Posey (Joshua) of Covington, TN, Joseph Webb (Angela); and five great-grandchildren, Jackson Posey, Canon Posey, Cason Pulliam, Tucker Webb and Noah Webb.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Leo Reed and Mary Sue Moore Reed and her brother, Bill Moore Reed.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers were Charles Johnson, Taylor Johnson, Jack Dallosta, Denton Pulliam, Joshua Posey and Johnie Simpson.
The family requests that memorials be directed to the Braden First United Methodist Church – Music Department, 230 Tennessee 59, Mason, TN 38049.
