Fred Carl Treadway

Fred Carl Treadway, age 85, resident of the District 15 Community in Fayette County and United States Army Veteran, departed this life Thursday, November 24, 2016.
Services of Remembrance for Mr. Treadway were conducted at 1 P.M. Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church with Bro. Billy Adair officiating. Interment followed at the Mt. Olive Cemetery in District 15. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center – Main Chapel of Somerville.
Mr. Treadway was born April 28, 1931 in Somerville, Tennessee. He received his education in the Fayette County School System. Mr. Treadway attended Morris Chapel Baptist Church and was employed as a foreman for Chickasaw Electric Company. He loved coon hunting, riding horses, playing cards, watching soap operas and special times with his family and friends.
Mr. Treadway is survived by three sisters, Mable Parks of Somerville, TN, Frances Gabbard of Walnut, MS, Yvonne Calhoun (Andy) of Holly Springs, MS; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George Newell Treadway and Mable Lucille Henley Treadway; his sister, Shirley Demby; one brother, Larry Treadway.
