Gary Lynn Posey

Gary Lynn Posey, age 67, resident of Drummonds, Tennessee, departed this life Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital in Bartlett, Tennessee.

Mr. Posey was born August 31, 1951 in Waco, Texas. He moved with his family at an early age to the Mid-South area and was a graduate of Central High School in Memphis. He was employed at Service Merchandise for many years and most recently retired as an Insurance Agent. He was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Posey is survived by his son,  Chris Posey (Amy) of Collierville, TN; his daughter, Jessica Hart (Todd) of Oakland, TN; two brothers, Randy Posey of Drummonds, TN, David Posey (Susanne) of Bartlett, TN; and four grandchildren, Savannah Petty, Taylor Posey, Colton Throneberry and Hudson Hart. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Henry Posey and Dorothy Helen Smith Posey; his sister, Carole Ann Posey Oliver; and his nephew, Jason Posey.
