Gerald Walter “Chip” Pantall, age 65, resident of Stanton, Tennessee and husband of Elizabeth "Liz” Pantall, departed this life Sunday, August 19, 2018 at his residence.
A Memorial Service for Mr. Pantall was held at 3 P.M. Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Dr. Kenneth Culver, pastor of the Warren Community Church in Somerville, officiating. Interment was private. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - West Chapel at Oakland.
Chip was born September 9, 1952 in Northmont, Ohio, the son of Don Eugene Pantall and the former Sara Lee Shellenberger. He was employed as a representative for Hitchner Manufacturing, with the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department and was also in the construction business before his retirement. Chip was married May 4, 2012 to the former Elizabeth “Liz” Wright and he was of the Christian faith. He enjoyed outdoor activities that included hunting, fishing and riding horses.
Chip is survived by his wife, Elizabeth “Liz” Wright Pantall of Stanton, TN; his son, John Pantall of Hickory Withe, TN; his mother, Sara Lee Raymer of League City, TX; two sisters, Kathy Booth of Arlington, TX, Jenny Gravitt of Springfield, OH; and his brother, Donnie Pantall of West Palm Beach, FL.
He was preceded in death by his father, Don Eugene Pantall and his sister, Linda McLean.
