Gerald "Jerry" Richard Litsinberger

Gerald Richard “Jerry” Litsinberger, age 58, resident of Atoka and husband of Darleen Litsinberger, departed this life Saturday morning, September 5, 2015 at the St. Francis Hospital in Bartlett.

Services of Remembrance for Mr. Litsinberger were conducted at 4 P.M. Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Brad Gabriel officiating. Interment followed in the Fayette County Memorial Park Cemetery on Highway 64. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - West Chapel at Oakland.

Mr. Litsinberger was born April 1, 1957 in Columbus, Ohio, the son of Dorothy Francis Litsinberger and the late Donald Litsinberger. He received his education in the Columbus, Ohio School System and was a graduate of Franklin Heights High School Class of 1975. He was married October 15, 1994 to the former Margaret Darleen Sullivan, who survives. He was employed as a machinist in the United States Navy and enjoyed fishing and NASCAR.

In addition to his wife of 20 years, Mr. Litsinberger is survived by four sons, Bryane Litsinberger of Atoka, Benjamin Litsinberger, Daniel Ives of Stanhope, NJ, Jordan Shrader of Memphis; his mother, Dorothy Litsinberger of Plain City, OH; his sister, Arlynne Gilke of Plain City, OH; his brother, Andy Litsinberger of Columbus, OH; and three grandchildren, Haydin Litsinberger, Emily Cochran and Melissa Ives.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers were Bryane Litsinberger, Rodger Roland, Jordan Shrader, Daniel Ives, Shannon Sullivan, Nicholas Sullivan and Danny Ives.

The family requests that memorials be directed to the Fayette County Chapter of the American Cancer Society, c/o Linda Taylor, 16845 U.S. Highway 64, Somerville, TN 38068.
