Grady Arnold Clark

September 22, 1934 — August 1, 2016

Grady Arnold Clark, age 81, resident of the Hickory Withe Community and husband of the late Pearl Howard Clark and the late Shirley Ross Clark, departed this life Monday evening, August 1, 2016 at his residence.

Memorial Services for Mr. Clark were conducted Sunday, August 7, 2016 from 4 to 6 P.M. at 420 Shady Oaks Drive, Hickory Withe, TN 38028. Full Military Honors Burial will be at 4 P.M. Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Fort Hill Cemetery in Cleveland, TN. Arrangements will be provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - West Chapel at Oakland.

Mr. Clark was born September 22, 1934 in Ringgold, Georgia. He received his education in the Catoosa County, Georgia Public School System and served his country in the United States Air Force as a young person. Mr. Clark was self-employed as an electrician for over 40 years before his retirement and was a resident of Bartlett for three years before moving to the Hickory Withe Community in 2015. He was a member of the Catoosa Baptist Tabernacle in Ringgold, Georgia and enjoyed fishing, going to flea markets and collecting knives.

Mr. Clark is survived by two daughters, Cynthia Pritchard and her husband, Roy, of Athens, TN, Beverly Dawson and her husband, Tommy, of Hickory Withe, TN; his sister, Elsie Starling and her husband, Carl, of Oak Ridge, TN; six grandchildren, Amanda Northrup, Lee Pritchard, Christopher Mull, Gabrielle Cutlip, Aron Pritchard, Noah Dawson; and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Pearl Howard Clark who died May 21, 1994; his second wife, Shirley Ross Clark who died April 23, 2012; his parents, Charles Alonzo Clark and Maggie Leona Lockhart Clark; his daughter, Debra Ann Clark; his sister, Mildred Trew; and three brothers, Curtis Clark, Alvin Clark and Jennings Clark.
