Grady Waldrop, age 70, resident of Ashland, Mississippi and husband of the late Deborah Allen Waldrop, departed this life Saturday morning, August 3, 2024 at Cornerstone Rehab and Health in Corinth, Mississippi.

Grady was born May 1, 1954 in Ripley, Mississippi, the son of the late Clarence Waldrop and Audrey Wammack Waldrop. He attended Walnut High School and was employed as a machinist for much of his life. Grady was married May 3, 1980 to Deborah Allen Waldrop who preceded him in death on October 12, 2019. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and loved working.

Mr. Waldrop is survived by his daughter, Shannon Broussard (Keith) of Middleton, TN; four sons, Larry Olson (Rebecca) of Minot, ND, Brian Waldrop of Walnut, MS, Johnny Box (Kandice) of Hattiesburg, MS and Shaun Waldrop (Tina Richardson) of Ashland, MS; two brothers, Russell Waldrop of Tiplersville, MS and Jerry Waldrop of Benton County, MS; eleven grandchildren, one great-grandchild and two great-grandchildren on the way.

Memorial Services for Mr. Waldrop were held at 12 noon Thursday, August 8, 2024 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Bro. Mike Hollaway, pastor of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Rossville, officiating. Interment was private.
