Han Ra Cho, resident of the Hickory Withe Community and mother of Lydia Shin of Hickory Withe departed this life Tuesday morning, June 18, 2013 at the Grace Healthcare Center in Cordova where she resided for three months. She was 96 years of age and died following a brief illness.
Graveside Services of Remembrance for Mrs. Cho will be conducted at 11 A.M. Monday, June 24th with remarks given by her son-in-law, John Chin. Interment will follow in the Fayette County Memorial Park Cemetery on Highway 64. Arrangements will be provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center — West Chapel at Oakland.
Mrs. Cho was born February 3, 1917 in Korea. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kuen Uk Lee and Ra Wan Shin. She received her education in the Korean School System and was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was a homemaker throughout her life and in earlier years was employed as a healthcare provider. Mrs. Cho was blessed to be a member of a large close-knit family and remained active until her recent illness.
Mrs. Cho leaves many relatives including her daughter, Lydia Shin and husband, John, of the Hickory Withe Community.
The family requests that memorials be directed to the Seventh Day Adventist Church Mission Fund, 2435 Canadaville Loop, Eads, TN 38028.
