Heather Renee Green, a resident of Munford, Tennessee with extended family members in Fayette County departed this life Thursday afternoon, July 18, 2013 at her residence. She was 36 years of age and died following an illness of three months.
Services of Remembrance for Ms. Green were conducted at 1:30 P.M. Tuesday, July 23rd at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Dr. Wayne Webb, pastor of the Macon Road Baptist Church officiating. Personal remarks and reflections were given by family members and friends. Interment was in the Somerville City Cemetery and arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center — West Chapel at Oakland.
Ms. Green was born July 27, 1976 in Memphis, the daughter of Aubrey Glover and Rachel Reynolds Glover. She received her education in the Shelby County Private School System and was a graduate of the Macon Road Baptist Church High School. She was a lifelong resident of the Shelby, Tipton and Fayette County areas and in past years served as cafeteria manager for the Tipton-Rosemark Academy before retiring for health reasons. Ms. Green had a lifelong love for pets and enjoyed shopping, dancing, special times with her family and vacations to the beach and water.
Ms. Green is survived by the father of her children, Greg Green of Brighton; two sons, Brandon Thomas Green of Brighton, Joseph William Green of Brighton; her parents, Aubrey and Rachel Glover of Munford; her biological father, Lyn Reynolds of Petosky, MI; two sisters, Catrina Reynolds of Millington, Vanessa Reynolds of Jackson, TN; and four brothers, Michael Reynolds of Millington, Steven Glover of Munford, Michael Glover of Olive Branch, MS, Daniel Reynolds of Petosky, MI.
The family requests that memorials be directed to the St. Jude Tribute Program, P.O. Box 1000, Department 142, Memphis, TN 38148.
