Helen Louise (Holt) Lock
June 19, 1926 — October 21, 2013
Helen Louise Holt Lock, age 87, resident of Lakeland, retired cashier and wife of the late Allen Keith Lock departed this life Monday afternoon, October 21, 2013 at her residence.
Services and interment for Mrs. Lock were private and arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center – West Chapel at Oakland.
Mrs. Lock was born June 19, 1926 in Indian Springs, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ebb Holt and Nannie Troxel Holt. She received her education in the Indian Springs Public School System and was the wife of Allen Keith Lock who preceded her in death on July 11, 1999.
Mrs. Lock was a resident of Swartz Creek, Michigan before moving to the Lakeland Community four years ago to be near her family. She was an avid collector of many items and enjoyed shopping.
Mrs. Lock is survived by two daughters, Beverly Ann Elizando of Flint, MI, Vickie Lynn Gibbs of Onondaga, MI; three sons, Larry Douglas Camper of Lakeland, TN, Gary Lee Camper of Kingsport, TN, Charles Alan Camper of Flint, MI; her brother, Wiley Holt of Byron, MI; eleven grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
The family requests that memorials be directed to the Shelby County Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association, 713 S. Mendenhall Road, Memphis, TN 38117.
