Homerlene "Lynn" (Kerley) Benson

Homerlene "Lynn" Kerley Benson, age 74, resident of Cordova, retired corporate secretary for Security Alert Systems in Memphis and wife of Frank G. Benson, Sr. departed this life Tuesday evening, December 10, 2013 at her residence.
Services for Mrs. Benson will be conducted at 2 P.M. Saturday, December 14th at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with visitation two hours before services. Interment will followed in the Fayette County Memorial Park Cemetery on Highway 64.
In addition to her husband of 57 years, Mrs. Benson is survived by two sons, Frank Benson, Jr. of Holly Springs, MS, Jamie Benson (Stefanie) of Williston; her sister, Bertha Russell of St. Louis, MO; her brother, Benny Kerley of St. Louis, MO; nine grandchildren and one great grandson.
Mrs. Benson was preceded in death by her parents, Homer Kerley and Nola Ingram Kerley; her daughter, Sherry Baillio who died July 4, 2013; and her grandson, Colte Benson who died December 27, 2008.
The family requests that memorials be directed to Hope Church, 8500 Walnut Grove Road, Cordova, TN 38018.
