Howard Terrell
1942—2011
Howard Lee Terrell, resident of Memphis with extended family members in Fayette County died Thursday April 7, 2011 at the Delta Medical Center in Memphis where he had been a patient for one week. He was 68 years of age and died following a six month illness.
Funeral services for Mr. Terrell were conducted on Sunday, April 10
th
at Graveside with Rev. Loyd Shelton of Rossville, officiating. Interment followed in the Fayette County Memorial Park Cemetery on Highway 64. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes—West Chapel of Oakland.
Mr. Terrell was born August 3, 1942 in Middletown, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rollie Terrell and Lillie Hollon Terrell. Mr. Terrell received his education in the Ohio Public School System and was a Christian. He was a farmer in earlier years and served for a brief period in the United State Navy. Mr. Terrell was a resident of West Tennessee and was known by many as a professional billiard player who participated in numerous tournaments in the Memphis area.
Survivors include his son, Nick Terrell of Jefferson City, Missouri and other extended family members in the Fayette and Shelby County areas.
