Howard Burneal "Neal" Glover

HOWARD BURNEAL "NEAL" GLOVER, lifelong resident of the Yum-Yum Community in Fayette County and a person involved in trucking, construction and farming throughout his life, died Tuesday evening, February 5, 2008 from injuries received in a tornado that touched down at his home.
Funeral services for Mr. Glover were conducted at 2 P.M. Tuesday, February 12th at the Peebles Main Funeral Chapel in Somerville with Rev. John Ed Watkins, pastor of the Morris Chapel Baptist Church in Somerville, officiating. Interment followed in the Hebron Cemetery in the Bethlehem Community of Fayette County. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Home - Main Chapel of Somerville.
Mr. Glover was born August 6, 1937, in Somerville, the son of the late William Howard Glover and the late Vera Wright Glover. He was educated in the Fayette County public school and was a lifelong resident of the Somerville area. Mr. Glover was a truck operator, construction employee and farmer in Fayette County and was employed by the Walker Farms at the time of his death.
A fun-loving and interesting individual who lived one day at a time, Mr. Glover was a friend to many. He will be remembered as an avid fisherman who enjoyed nature and the rural way of life.
Mr. Glover is survived by his son, Michael Howard Glover, Sr. and three grandchildren, Holly, Mike and Krystal.
Those honored to serve as casketbearers were Ronnie Newman, Glenn Newman, Gene Newman, Bill Walker, Bob Walker and Bobbie Riles.
