Jackie Marbry
1959—2010
Jackie Lynn Marbry, resident of the Arlington Community in Fayette County died instantly of injuries received Friday evening, September 24, 2010 in a one vehicle accident the occurred on the Larry Anderson Lane near Arlington. He was 50 years of age.
A Service of Remembrance for Mr. Marbry was conducted at 11 A.M. Wednesday, September 29

at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Rev. Phil Newberry, pastor of the Bellevue Baptist Church of Arlington, officiating. Interment will be private and arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes—West Chapel of Oakland.
Mr. Marbry was born in Henderson, Tennessee on November 19, 1959, the son of Alex Marbry, Jr. and the late Mildred Cordle Marbry. He received his education in the Tipton County Public School System and was a former resident of the Brighton Community in Tipton County before moving to the Arlington area ten years ago.
Mr. Marbry was employed by the Lydell Manufacturing Company in Covington for a number of years before his illness. He was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed yard work, fishing and hunting as long as health permitted. Mr. Marbry will be remembered by family and friends as a person who enjoyed “living life to the fullest”.
In addition to his father, survivors of Mr. Marbry include his daughter: Christine Louise Marbry of Brighton, his brothers, James Allen Scott of Vitor, Texas, Randy Marbry (Barbie) of Covington, Paul Marbry (Angie) of Covington, his sisters, Jo McPhail (Prentis) of Rossville, Charlotte Stewart of Brighton, Jan Akers of Covington, Gail Good (Russ) of Brighton, Marilyn Lux of Arlington, Clara Mae Scott of Humboldt, Brenda Scott of Henderson, Barbara Wilson of Selmer and Regina McMillen of Waverly. Mr. Marbry was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Cordle Marbry and his brother, Mickey Marbry.
The family requests that memorials be directed to the either the American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society.
