JACKSON DALE MORRIS PLUNKETT, newborn infant of Christopher and Ashley Ferge Plunkett of Savannah, Tennessee died at 2 A.M. Thursday, December 18, 2008 at the Hardin Medical Center in Savannah.
Funeral services for Jackson were conducted at 2 P.M. Saturday, December 20th at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel in Oakland with Rev. Gary Joyner, Pastor of the Moscow Full Gospel Evangelical Church, officiating. Interment followed in the Fayette County Memorial Park Cemetery on Highway 64. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes-West Chapel of Oakland.
Jackson's father is employed by the Savannah Food Company and his mother is a former resident of Fayette County.
In addition to his parents, Jackson is survived by his sister, Taylor Ferge and two brothers, Nathan Plunkett and Parker Plunkett, all of Savannah; his grandparents: Barbara and Marvin Ferge of Moscow; Cindy Byers of Savannah, TN and David Plunkett of Selmer; his great-grandparents: Helen Conner of Oakland; Margaret Jackson of Somerville and Nelda and Claude Loggains of Selmer and his great-great grandparents, Velma Kee of Oakland and Louise Pittman of Somerville.
Jackson's father and his uncle, Scotty Ferge served as casket bearers.
The family request that Memorials be directed to the charity or organization of the donor's choice.
