Jacob William Nabors

November 14, 1997 — March 19, 2024

Memphis, Tennessee

Jacob William Nabors, at the age of 26, departed this life Tuesday, March 19, 2024, in Memphis, Tennessee.

Born on November 14, 1997, in the heart of Memphis, Jacob was the beloved son of Michael and Ginny Nabors. His educational journey began at St. George's Independent School and blossomed as he pursued higher learning at the esteemed University of Mississippi. A member of Germantown Baptist Church, Jacob also lent his talents as  project manager at Paul Davis Renovations. His warm nature and sincere compassion touched all those around him.

In the tapestry of his interests, Jacob was an avid golfer and a lifelong member of Ridgeway Country Club. He found solace in watching sports, especially for teams like Ole Miss, Memphis Grizzlies and Chicago Cubs. He loved Memphis, including Elvis. Recently delving into the art of wood crafting, he discovered a new passion that resonated with his creative spirit. Music fueled his soul, and time spent with loved ones while hunting and fishing at his Uncle Bobby’s farm brought him immeasurable joy. Known for his selflessness and genuine kindness, Jacob consistently placed others' needs ahead of his own.

Jacob's legacy lives on through his devoted parents, Michael and Ginny Nabors of Germantown, TN; his adored brother, Joseph Nabors of Germantown, TN; his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George W. and Joanne Buzard of Germantown, TN; alongside two cherished aunts – Donna Parker of Millington, TN and Beverly Beard of Germantown, TN; followed by his uncle, Bobby Buzard (Gina Jett) from Memphis, TN; and his yellow lab, Frank.

In memory of Jacob lie the echoes of his paternal grandparents who walked beside him in spirit, Donald Lee Nabors and Mary Elizabeth Nabors.

As we fondly recall Jacob's infectious smile, vibrant spirit and unwavering kindness, let us cherish the memories he wove into our lives – a tapestry rich with love and compassion that shall endure eternally.
