Jacob Tyler Williams, beloved son of Brenda McClure Williams and Jimmy Williams died July 30, 2010 at the residence of his grandparents, Larry and Karen McClure in Rossville. He was 12 years of age.
A Service of Remembrance for Jacob was conducted at 10 A.M. Monday, August 2 nd at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland. The Officiating ministers were Bro. Tommy Williams of Collierville and Bro. Loyd Shelton of Rossville. Interment followed in the Magnolia Cemetery at Collierville. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes—West Chapel of Oakland.
Jacob, a special child of God, was born July 31, 1997 and was a lifelong resident of the Rossville/Collierville areas. He was a happy child and will be remembered for his love of music, bright colors, dogs and his favorite cartoon characters.
In addition to his parents Jacob is survived by his grandparents and great-grandparents, Larry and Karen McClure of Rossville, Carl and Gail Williams of Memphis, Buck and Allena Hutcheson of Memphis, Alfred B. Bryan of Collierville, and Betty Miller of Kansas City, Kansas, his brothers William F. Williams of Memphis, Christopher J. Williams of Fort Lewis, WA, Justin A. Williams of Clinton, MO and Timothy S. Williams of Collierville.
Those honored to serve as casket bearers were Wes Gilmore, Brad Thompson, Joey Williams, John Wilson, Mike Williams and Jerry Williams.
