Jacqueline E. “Jackie” Dennie Allison, age 55, resident of Whiteville and wife of Mike Allison, departed this life Sunday afternoon, October 16, 2016 at her residence.
A Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Allison was held at 12 noon Saturday, October 22, 2016 at the Mt. Joy Baptist Church in Iuka, Mississippi. Interment was private. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - Main Chapel of Somerville.
Mrs. Allison was born May 15, 1961 in Memphis. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby Dennie and Bobbie Hall Dennie. Mrs. Allison was employed with the Internal Revenue Service as a customer service agent before retiring for health reasons.
Mrs. Allison is survived by her husband, Michael Joseph “Mike” Allison of Whiteville, TN; her daughter, Bobbie Allison of Whiteville, TN; her stepdaughter, Marla Florom (Sean) of Virginia Beach, VA; two sisters, Vivian Barnett of Pontotoc, MS, Patty Barnett of Cherokee, AL; two brothers, Sammy Barnett (Lee) of Iuka, MS, Larry Barnett (Carol) of Rienzi, MS; and four grandchildren, Gavin, Collin, Paxton and Maddox, all of Virginia.
