Jacqueline Marie "Jackie" LaParl Kuilema, age 97, resident of the Somerville Community, departed this life Wednesday afternoon, February 18, 2015 at the Rainbow HealthCare Center in Bartlett.
Services and Interment for Mrs. Kuilema were private. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - Main Chapel of Somerville.
Mrs. Kuilema was born June 22, 1917 in Battle Creek, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Edward LaParl and Gertrude Pulsifer LaParl. She received her education in the Calhoun County, Michigan Public School System and was the wife of Louis M. Kuilema, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Kuilema was of the Christian Science faith and enjoyed artistry and making silver jewelry.
Mrs. Kuilema is survived by her daughter, Jacqueline Necaise (Leonard) of Fernandina Beach, FL; three sons, Peter Kuilema (Jaderia) of San Diego, CA, Daniel Kuilema (Sherry) of Arlington, TN, Douglas Kuilema of North Webster, IN; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
The family requests that memorials be directed to the church, charity or organization of the donor's choice.
