James Ralph Kiser

James Ralph Kiser, age 89, resident of Rossville, Tennessee and husband of the late Frances Louise Stokes Kiser, departed this life Thursday morning, June 27, 2024 at his home.

James was born in 1935 in Rochelle, Georgia, the son of the late Ralph Asbury Kiser and Lucy Evelyn Smith Kiser. He was a member of First Baptist Church Fisherville and loved going to auctions, traveling and gardening. The joy of his life was spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren.

Mr. Kiser is survived by two sons, James Michael Kiser and David Lee Kiser (Glenda); four grandchildren, Casey Kiser, Michael Kiser, Graham Kiser and Carter Kiser; and four great-grandchildren, Liam Kiser, Bristol Lynn Kiser, Gus Blakeley and Dane Blakeley. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Louise Kiser.

Funeral Services for Mr. Kiser were held at 11 A.M. Monday, July 1, 2024 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Bro. Jack Moore, affiliate pastor of First Baptist Church Fisherville, officiating. Scripture readings were given by Carter Kiser, Graham Kiser and Casey Kiser. Interment will be in Magnolia Park Cemetery in Warner Robins, Georgia.

Honorary pallbearers were Casey Kiser, Michael Kiser, Graham Kiser and Carter Kiser.
