James Fredrick "Freddie" Nelms, III

James Fredrick "Freddie" Nelms, III, age 41, resident of Stanton, Tennessee in Haywood County, departed this life Monday morning, January 11, 2016 at his residence.
Services and Interment for Mr. Nelms were private. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - West Chapel at Oakland.
Mr. Nelms was born August 31, 1974 in Memphis. He received his education in the Memphis City School System and was of the Methodist faith. He was a fisherman and a horse trainer. Mr. Nelms was employed as a painter for a number of years before retiring for health reasons.
Mr. Nelms is survived by his daughter, Ellen Marie Nelms of Winona, MS; his son, James Walter Nelms of Stanton, MS; his father, James Fredrick Nelms, Jr; his mother, Martha Thompson Nelms of Stanton; his sister, Gina Youngblood (John) of Memphis; and two brothers, Joseph Monego of McGee, MS, James Monega (Peg) of Ithaca, IL.
He was preceded in death by his son, Chad Nelms.
