Jason Wade Nix

Jason Wade Nix, Bartlett resident with family members in Fayette County departed this life Saturday, October 22, 2011 at his residence. He was 36 years of age and died unexpectedly.
Services of Remembrance for Mr. Nix were conducted at 3 P.M. Thursday, October 27th at Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Bro. Danny Sinquefield of the Faith Baptist Church officiating. Interment followed in the Seward Cemetery in the Eads Community. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes and Cremation Center — West Chapel at Oakland.
Mr. Nix was born September 20, 1975 to Darryl Wade Nix and the former Vicki Lynn Crane. He received his education in the Shelby County Public School Systems and was employed as a glass window installer for the Addison Glass Company in Memphis. He was a member of the Ellendale Baptist Church in Shelby County and had a special love for music and enjoyed serving as a disc jockey for special occasions. Special times with family and friends were favorite pastimes.
Mr. Nix is survived by his parents, Darryl and Vicki Nix of Bartlett; his maternal grandparents, Charles and Rebecca Crane of Eads; and his paternal grandmother, Lois Nix of Bartlett. Mr. Nix was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Wade Nix.
Those honored to serve as casketbearers were Christian Carter, Paul Halford, Paul Michael Halford, Charles William Halford, Tim Chriswell and Gary Parker.
