Jeanne Lea Pentz

Jeanne Lea Pentz, age 57, resident of Memphis and former resident of Somerville, departed this life Tuesday afternoon, July 12, 2016 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis.

Services of Remembrance for Ms. Pentz were conducted at 12 noon Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with interment in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Memphis. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - West Chapel at Oakland.

Jeanne loved her family and was a faithful member of the Life Church of Memphis – Cordova campus. She made a fresh start in April of 2013. Her heart was focused on serving and loved to talk and share how Jesus had changed her completely. She faithfully served on several team ministries to include baptism, discovery, food preparation, resources and generous house.

Jeanne was born June 8, 1959 and is survived by her brother, Jerry Pentz, Jr. and his wife, Teresa, of Oakland and his children, Rachel, Simon and Hannah Pentz and her brother, John Pentz and his children, James and Liberty.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Jan Pentz; her mother, Janice Pentz; and her father, Jerry Pentz, all who were of Memphis.

The family requests that memorials be directed to the Life Church, 1800 N. Germantown Parkway, Cordova, TN 38016.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers were Jerry Pentz, John Pentz, Simon Pentz and Harvey Glover.
