Jerry Lee Brazier

Jerry Lee Brazier, age 72, resident of Somerville, Tennessee and husband of the late Sarah Ruth James Brazier, departed this life Sunday morning, October 9, 2022 at Baptist Reynolds Hospice House in Collierville, Tennessee.

Jerry was born December 6, 1949 in Wayne County, Tennessee, the son of the late Albert and Willie Mae Crews Brazier. He was employed as a heavy machine operator for many years before his retirement and was very active at Reach360 Church in Somerville. Jerry was an outdoorsman who loved being in the woods. He enjoyed playing and listening to music and spending time with his grandchildren who lovingly called him Pop Pop.

Mr. Brazier is survived by his son, Michael Brazier and his wife, Kelli; and two grandchildren, Preslie JoAnna Brazier and Wilson Gray Brazier.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Albert Brazier.

Funeral Services for Mr. Brazier were held at 2 P.M. Friday, October 14, 2022 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland. Interment followed in the Fayette County Memorial Park Cemetery on Highway 64.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers were Caleb McGee, Frankie King, Walter Willoughby, Michael Barkley, Dale Dorsett, Tim Oliver and Jim McGee.
