Jerry Hulon Oliver

Jerry Hulon Oliver, age 79, resident of Collierville and native of Somerville, departed this life Thursday evening, March 31, 2016 at his residence.
Services and Interment for Mr. Oliver were private. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center – Main Chapel of Somerville.
Mr. Oliver was born April 13, 1936 in Somerville. He received his education in the Fayette County Public School System and was of the Baptist faith. He was employed in the automobile industry for many years before his retirement and enjoyed fishing and cars.
Mr. Oliver is survived by two daughters, Jenny Geurin (Mark) of Warrenton, Missouri, Beth Oliver Seaman; his son, Jerry Oliver, Jr.; his sister, Patsy Floyd (Bill) of Maryville, Tennessee; his brother, Larry Oliver (Brenda) of Somerville; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hulon Autrey Oliver and Cora Virginia Foote Oliver and four brothers, Kyle Oliver, Gilbert Oliver, Herbert Oliver and James Franklin Oliver.
