Jerry Watson

Jerry Watson, age 67, resident of the Gallaway Community, departed this life Monday evening, May 7, 2018 at his residence.

Mr. Watson was born March 23, 1951 in Eads, Tennessee. He was employed as a heating and air conditioning technician for many years. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed fishing and watching television, especially wrestling and Criminal Minds.

Mr. Watson is survived by two daughters, Shannon Houston of Memphis, TN, Tabitha Luna (Javier) of Memphis, TN; four sisters, Virginia Whittemore of Gallaway, TN, Brenda Davis of Gallaway, TN, Renata Watson of Florida, Betty Joe Stines of Oakland, TN; his brother, Terry Watson of Southaven, MS; and eight grandchildren, Andres Luna, Anjelina Luna, Christian Luna, Jazlynn Luna, Nicholas Watson (Kelsey), Broderick Houston, Jr., Micheal Houston and Joshua Houston.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edmond Bell Watson and Mattie Louise Wright Watson; two sisters and two brothers.
