JEWEL COLE BALCH

ELMA JEWEL COLE BALCH, 77, resident of Cordova and retired hotel manager died April 10, 2010. Services will be at 10 AM Wednesday at Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with interment in Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Moscow. A visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at Peebles. A former resident of Southaven, she was a member of the Helena, AR First United Methodist Church and the Red Hat Society. Mrs. Balch enjoyed gardening, cooking, traveling and special times with her family and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Noell Stanley Balch, her children, Carole Buxbaum Hokeah of Elizabethtown, KY, Lisa Buxbaum Lee of Cary, NC, Robert Barry Buxbaum, Jr. of Cordova, a sister Virginia Cole of Bolivar, two brothers, John Morgan Cole, Jr. of Cordova, Ret. Major General Alfred Benjamin Cole of Germantown, her grandchildren, Christian Hokeah, Carson Lee and Meredith Lee.
