JIMMY LEE HOWELL

JIMMY LEE HOWELL, a resident of Pekin, Illinois, native of the Moscow Community and United States Veteran died Saturday evening, February 20, 2010 at the Pekin Manor Nursing Home in Pekin. He was 86 years of age.
Graveside services for Mr. Howell were conducted at 2 P.M. Friday, February 26th and interment followed in the Bethlehem Cemetery near Moscow. Local arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes-Main Chapel of Somerville.
Mr. Howell was born September 16, 1923 in Fayette County the son of the late Jim G. Howell and Daisey Moore Howell.
He served in the United State Military in earlier years and was a resident of Peoria, Illinois for much of his life.
Survivors of Mr. Howell include his brother, Joseph W. Howell of Tremont, IL.
Those honored to serve as casket bearers were family members and friends.
