John Charles Bogan, age 80, resident of Eads, Tennessee and husband of Marina Bogan, departed this life Tuesday afternoon, February 18, 2025 at St. Francis Hospital in Bartlett, Tennessee.
John Charles Bogan, the son of late Herman L. Bogan and W. Isabelle Bogan, the brother of late Rose Mae Bogan, and the uncle of Dr. Lee Berger his wife Jackie, their children Matthew and Meghan Berger and Lemont Berger.
John is survived by his wife Marina C. Bogan, his children Charles and his wife Katie, Susan, Pamela, Rebekah, Abraham and Jeremiah, his grand-children Sun, Rain, Ivy, Margot and Eloise, and his great-grandchildren Emelia and Soren.
John Charles Bogan loved God, his family, his community and his country.
John was a life-time Alumni of the University of Memphis, where his Mom W. Isabelle Bogan taught business. He was a dedicated Memphis Tigers Football Fan and a passionate Highland Hundred Booster.
Commander John Charles Bogan, US Navy retired, served his country for 30 years in the military. He came from a long line of dedicated soldiers who fought at Kings Mountain in the Revolutionary War, followed through the battles of WWI and WWII by the late fierce Vice Admiral Gerald F. Bogan, leading to Naval Commander John Charles Bogan, USN ret, final fight and victory in the MAGA Revolutionary Battle of 2024 to save his beloved America for generations to come.
This was his final battle and victory. Thank you for our freedom.
Funeral Services for Mr. Bogan were held at 2 P.M. Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at First Baptist Church Fisherville with Dr. John Bills officiating. Interment with Military Honors followed in followed in Fisherville Cemetery.
