John Everett Bright, age 65, resident of Gallaway, former resident of Memphis, departed this life Monday, May 25, 2015 at the Gallaway Healthcare Center.
Services of Remembrance for Mr. Bright were conducted at 11 A.M. Thursday, June 4th at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Rev. Kent Bailey of Collierville officiating. Interment followed in the Fayette County Memorial Park Cemetery on Highway 64. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - West Chapel at Oakland.
Mr. Bright was born February 2, 1950 in Memphis. He was preceded in death by his parents, C.H. Bright and Elsie Juanita Aikens Bright. He was a longtime resident of Memphis before moving to Gallaway for health reasons. He was of the Methodist faith and enjoyed horses.
Mr. Bright is survived by his brother, Charlie Bright of Millington; his sister, Patricia Permenter (Glynn) of DeSoto County, MS; and his stepmother, Nancy Bright of Savannah.
