1969—2010
John Sterling “Bubba” Hambrick, Jr. resident of the Moscow Community and husband of Cheryl Bowen Hambrick died in Fayette County on Tuesday morning, October 5, 2010. He was 41 years of age and died unexpectedly.
A Service of Remembrance for Mr. Hambrick was conducted at 10 A.M. Saturday, October 9 th at Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Rev. Greg Cook and Rev. Blake McCain, officiating. Interment followed in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Moscow.  Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes—West Chapel of Oakland.
Mr. Hambrick was born in Panama City Beach, Florida on September 24, 1969, the son of Diane Banks Hambrick and the late John Sterling Hambrick, Sr. He was educated in the Newnan Georgia Public School System and was a graduate of the East Coweta High School. Mr. Hambrick was self-employed as a carpenter for the past 25 years and had been a resident of Fayette County for six years.
Mr. Hambrick was married February 14, 1998 to the former Cheryl Bowen of Fayette County. A Christian, who enjoyed special times with his family, Mr. Hambrick will be remembered for his love of NASCAR activities, fishing and music.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Meghan and Taylor Hambrick of Fayetteville, GA, Dalton McCain and Brett Hambrick of Moscow, his mother, Diane Banks Hambrick of Newnan, GA, his sisters, Christie Hambrick Mappin of Newnan, GA and Carrie Ann Hambrick of Fayetteville, GA, his grandparents, James and Ann Hambrick of Newnan, GA and Edgar Banks of Fayetteville, GA.
Those honored to serve as casketbearers were Joe Burnett, Robert Cogdill, Spencer Cogdill, Jon Davis, Steve Lefler, Tim McClure and Byron Moss.
The family requests that memorials be directed to the Morris Memorial Baptist Church, 130 3 rd Avenue, Moscow, TN 38057.
