John Ryan Knolton

January 1, 2004 — February 10, 2015

John Ryan Knolton, age 11, resident of Oakland, 5th grade student at Macon Road Baptist School in Arlington and son of Ryan and Christi Adelman Knolton, departed this life Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at the LeBonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis.

Services of Remembrance for John were conducted at 3 P.M. Sunday, February 15th at the Macon Road Baptist Church in Arlington with Dr. Wayne Webb, pastor of the church, officiating. Interment followed in the Fayette County Memorial Park Cemetery on Highway 64. Arrangements were be provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - West Chapel at Oakland.

John was born January 1, 2004 in Memphis, the son of Michael Ryan Knolton and Jennifer Christine "Christi" Adelman Knolton. He was a 5th grade student at Macon Road Baptist School in Arlington and a resident of the Oakland Community. He enjoyed attending church and loved Jesus. John's hobbies included hunting, fishing and football and he had a special love for people.

John is survived by his parents, Ryan and Christi Knolton of Oakland; his sister, Olivia Knolton of Oakland; his maternal grandmother, Nan Adelman of Memphis; his paternal grandmother, Mitzie Ridley (Robert) of Tiptonville, TN; his paternal uncle, Ross Knolton (Anni) of Murfreesboro, TN; and his maternal uncle, Johnny Adelman (Erin Marie) of Memphis.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Reggie Knolton and John Adelman.

Those honored to serve as casketbearers were Keith Archer, Mark Martin, Frank Bowman, P.J. Curtis, Dennis Baker and Austin Archer.

Honorary casketbearers were Jonathan Little, Jason Stegall, Aaron Walker and Anthony Walker.

The family requests that memorials be directed to the Macon Road Baptist Building Fund, 11015 Highway 64, Arlington, TN 38002 or the Fayette County Animal Rescue, P.O. Box 44, Rossville, TN 38066.
