John Dennis Ruble

John Dennis Ruble, Age 83, resident of Cordova, Tennessee and husband of Doris Arosemena Ruble, departed this life Wednesday morning, February 3, 2021 at Baptist Reynolds Hospice House in Collierville, Tennessee

John was born May 20, 1937 in Livingston, Tennessee to the late John Henry Ruble and Elnora Logan Ruble.  He attended school in Livingston and then served his country in the United States Army. He was a special agent with United States Customs at the Panama Canal and was a member of Leewood East Baptist Church. John was a member of Model A Club in Memphis and enjoyed being with his family.

Mr. Ruble is survived by his wife who he married July 3, 1959, Doris Ruble of Cordova, TN; two daughters, Nora Hope (Eddy) of Eads, TN and Leisa Johnston (Jeff) of Memphis, TN; his son, John “Buddy” Ruble (Donna) of Pacific, WA; four sisters, Beulah Simons (Phil) of Pembroke Pines, FL, Virginia Thompson (Branville) of Pembroke Pines, FL, Neva Hawkins (Bob) of Livingston, TN and Patsy Johnson (Jim) of Crossville, TN; his brother, Ronald Ruble (Jackie) of Livingston, TN; four grandchildren, Russell Patton, Cade Patton, Cristina Patton and Laura Benner (Robert); and three great-grandchildren, Cade Patton, Derek Benner and Alyssa Benner.

Funeral Services for Mr. Ruble will be private.
