Jack Kendall, 84, died Wednesday, January 27, 2016 after a brief illness. He leaves his friends and companions, André Bruce Ward and Ken Usery, and his sister, Joan Brown of Olathe, Kansas.
Jack was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and graduated from the University of Oklahoma. He served in the U.S. Army and had an early professional career with Time Magazine in New York City. He also lived in Richmond, VA prior to moving to Memphis 38 years ago.
Jack was often seen in theatrical productions throughout the Memphis community, especially at Theatre Memphis, in which he was featured in such productions as YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU, HELLO, DOLLY!, NOISES OFF, and A FUNNY THING HAPPENDED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM, to name a few.
