Joy (Galigher) Sipes

Ruby Joy Galigher Sipes, age 58, resident of Toone and former employee of Western Mental Health Institute in Bolivar died Saturday evening, January 5, 2013. Services for Mrs. Sipes are incomplete and will be announced by the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland.
Mrs. Sipes was born November 5, 1954 in Hardeman County, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.T. Galigher and Dorothy Paulina Sisco Galigher. She received her education in the Hardeman County Public School System and was a lifelong resident of Hardeman County.
Mrs. Sipes is survived by her husband, Rickie Sipes of Toone; her daughter, Kristie Cutler of Toone; four sisters, Charlotte Howell of Jackson, TN, Phyllis Wiggins of Whiteville, Patricia Hawken of Collierville, Sheila Brandenburg of Memphis; three brothers, Douglas Galigher of Knoxville, James Lewis Galigher of Medon, Hugh Randall Galigher of Toone; and three grandchildren, Courtney Wilbanks, Megan Wilbanks and Bryce Cutler.
The family requests that memorials be directed to the church, charity or organization of the donor's choice.
