Joy (Fowler) Sprague, age 55, resident of Collierville, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022. Raised in Buford, Georgia, Joy was an outgoing and involved student who was well-liked by all her peers. She was captain of the cheerleading squad and homecoming queen her senior year. After high school, Joy attended The University of Dahlonega where she discovered her passion for teaching and pursued her degree in education as well as her Masters in elementary education.

Joy sought to bring out the best in her students and pushed them to pursue their dreams. Her coworkers admired Joy's spunk and dedication to her job, and described her as a boss who supported them in all their endeavors and always stood by their side.
Outside of the classroom, Joy surrounded herself with her friends and her family. Joy loved her family. She was most proud of her daughters and always had stories to share about their successes and futures.
Joy is survived by her best friend and loving husband of 34 years, Scott, her daughters Hannah Hall (Matt) of Memphis, TN, and Olivia Dreisbach (Kevin) of Louisville, KY, her brother Alan Fowler (Deena) of Tampa, FL, and her mother Dianne Sudderth of Collierville, TN.
