JOYCE VIRGINIA IVIE FOX

JOYCE VIRGINIA IVIE FOX, a resident of the Somerville Community, former resident of Elizabeth, Arkansas and wife of the late Ralph Fox died Sunday evening, January 31, 2010 at the National HealthCare Center in Somerville. She was 85 years of age.
Funeral services for Mrs. Fox were conducted at 2 P.M. Tuesday, February 9th at the Henderson Baptist Church in Henderson, Arkansas with her son, Rev. Tod Fox, officiating. Interment followed in the Custer-Herron Cemetery at Henderson. Local arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes-Main Chapel of Somerville.
Mrs. Fox was born August 23, 1924 in Craighead County, Arkansas the daughter of the late Earl and Dovie Ivie.
She was married November 24, 1946 to Ralph Fox, United States Veteran and Air Force Career Person who preceded her in death.
Her passions were her church, family, friends, animals and gardening.
Mrs. Fox was a Christian throughout her life and a member of the Oak Valley Baptist Church where she remained faithful until her illness and before moving to Somerville.
Survivors of Mrs. Fox include two sons, Ralph Fox, Jr. (Debbie) of Eads and Rev. Tod Fox (Laura) of Coram, MT; a daughter, Jenny Fox of Columbus, GA; four granddaughters and seven great-grandchildren.
The family requests that memorials be directed the Oak Valley Baptist Church or to the Humane Society of North Central, Arkansas.
