JAMES REGINALD "REGGIE" KNOLTON, a resident of Henderson, Tennessee and father of Ryan Knolton of Oakland died at 3:30 A.M. Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at the Methodist Hospital Germantown where he had been a patient for one day. He was 58 years of age.
Funeral arrangements for Mr. Knolton were private and were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes-West Chapel of Oakland.
Mr. Knolton was born July 14, 1950 in Memphis the son of the late Clarence E. Knolton and the late Mary L. Kuykendall Knolton. He was received his education in the Memphis Public School System and was employed in the Technical Support Division of Federal Express for twenty-four years at the time of his death.
Mr. Knolton was a Protestant and was a resident of Shelby County, before moving to Henderson, Tennessee, nine months ago. His interests included fishing, golfing and horse racing.
He was married May 19, 2004 to the former Phyllis Cochran, who survives.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Knolton is survived by two sons, Ryan Knolton (Christi) of Oakland and Ross Knolton (Anni) of Murfreesboro, TN; his sister, Judy Hilliard of Memphis; his brother, Rodney Knolton of Memphis and nine grandchildren.
The family request that Memorials be directed to the Chester County Chapter of the American Heart Association.
