Judith “Judy” Neumann Pingolt, age 75, resident of Oakland, Tennessee, former resident of Chicago, Illinois and wife of the late Leroy Pingolt, departed this life Thursday evening, June 25, 2020 at her residence.
Judy was born August 6, 1944 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Ruth Christiansen Neumann and the late Charles Neumann. She received her education in Chicago and was married July 7, 1969 to Leroy Pingolt who preceded her in death on October 3, 2019. Judy was employed as a travel agent for many years before her retirement. She was a member of Hope Church in Cordova and enjoyed traveling, reading watching movies and special times with her family and friends.
Mrs. Pingolt is survived by two daughters, Tracy Brown (Destry) of Oakland, TN and Kim Davis (Scott) of Collierville, TN; her mother, Ruth Neumann of Walworth, WI; her brother, Steve Neumann (Leslie) of Chicago, IL; four grandchildren, Gavin Brown, Kierston Pingolt, Taylor Davis and Connor Davis; and two great-grandchildren, Alice Fleet and Madden Jones.
The family will have a private memorial service at Hope Church in Cordova, Tennessee.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to St. Jude Memorial Giving, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
