Julian Wade Long

Julian Wade Long, age 40, resident of Somerville, Tennessee departed this life Sunday evening, July 3, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

Julian was born March 23, 1982, in Memphis, son of Lois Steward Long and the late Ronnie Long. As a man of loyalty, dedication, strong character and service, he was employed with Comcast for over 20 years. Creativity, curiosity, and a commitment to making the most out of life led Julian to dabble in and share his many hobbies. Fishing was his favorite pastime and he poured into the spirit and legacy of his children. He enjoyed spending time with his beloved wife and family. He was a devoted husband and father, and he brought so much joy and pride to his parents throughout all the seasons of his life. Julian is a fine representation of his values and upbringing and will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his wife, Krystle Long; two daughters, Abigail and Maddie Long; son, Avery Long; mother, Lois Long; brother, Joshua Long (Amanda); mother-in-law, Dinah Moore (David); and sister-in-law, Kellie Windham (Jeffery).

Funeral Services were held at 1 P.M. Friday, July 8, 2022, at Peebles West Funeral Chapel in Oakland with Bro. Tony Watkins officiating. Interment followed in the Hood Cemetery in the Warren Community.

Pallbearers were Brandon Williams, Brien Luck, Dickie Young, Chris Glover, Hayden Holter and Jeffery Windham. Honorary pallbearer was Avery Long.

The family requests that memorials be directed to the Krystle L Long POD, Abigail and Maddie and Avery Long Children's Trust that can be taken to any Trustmark Bank.
