June "Faye" Fayrene (Whitis) Strumberger

June Fayrene “Faye” Whitis Strumberger, resident of the Moscow Community, departed this life Saturday afternoon, December 21, 2013 at her residence. She was 73 years of age.

Services of Remembrance for Mrs. Strumberger were conducted in West Milton, Ohio. Interment followed in Royal Oak Memorial Gardens in Brookville, Ohio. Local arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes and Cremation Center — Main Chapel of Somerville.

Mrs. Strumberger was born June 3, 1940 in Ocala, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Whitis and Beuna Poynter Whitis. She was the wife of Martin Strumberger, who preceded her in death. She enjoyed special times with her family members and friends. The outdoors, word search puzzles and reading magazines were favorite pastimes.

Mrs. Strumberger is survived by two daughters, Aneda Noggle (Grant) of Moscow, Kathy North (Robert) of Troy, Ohio; her son, James Strumberger of Huber Heights, Ohio; four granddaughters, Jenny Noggle (Brian) of Clayton, Ohio, Brittany Noggle of Vandalia, Ohio, Melissa Strumberger of Cincinnati, Ohio, Heather Strumberger of Huber Heights, Ohio; and many other relatives and friends.
