Justin Neil Davis, age 24, resident of the Hickory Withe Community and United States Veteran, departed this life Tuesday evening, July 15, 2014.
Memorial Services for Mr. Davis were conducted at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, July 23rd at the Farmington Presbyterian Church in Germantown. Interment with Military Honors followed in the West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Memphis. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - West Chapel at Oakland.
Mr. Davis was born October 23, 1989 in Millington, the son of Sherry Lynn Knight and the late Danny Michael Davis, Sr. He received his education in the Shelby County Public School System and was married in 2010 to Carly Rye Davis, who survives. He served his country in the United States Army. Mr. Davis was a resident of the Shelby and Fayette County areas for much of his life. He enjoyed playing hockey, fishing, hunting and special times with his daughter.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Davis is survived by his daughter, Delilah Davis of Cordova; his mother, Sherry Knight of Hickory Withe; his step-parents, Charles Whitaker III of Hickory Withe, Kimberly Davis of Floresville, TX; three sisters, Kristan Perkins (John) of Lakeland, Chelsea Davis of Phoenix, AZ, Madaline Davis of Floresville, TX; three brothers, Danny Michael Davis, Jr. of Hickory Withe, Charles Whitaker IV of Rosemark, TN, Zachary Davis of Floresville, TX; his grandparents, Cornelius and Patricia Sherman of Germantown and John Terry Knight Sr. and Christy Knight of Arlington.
