JUSTIN ROBERT HAMMONDS, a resident of the Williston Community and Residential Roofer
died April 26, 2010 at his residence. He was 27 years of age and died following a brief illness.
Family members and friends gathered for a time of Rememberance for Mr. Hammonds from 6 to 8 P.M. Friday, April 30th at the Peebles Main Funeral Chapel in Somerville. Interment will be in the Magnolia Cemetery in Beaumont, TX. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes-Main Chapel of Somerville.
Mr. Hammonds was born November 29, 1982 in Walker, TX, the son of Michael Joe Hammonds and the late Melinda Ruth Tackett Hammonds. He was educated in the Jefferson County Texas Public School System and was a self-employed Residential and Commerical Roofer for much of his life. He was a member of the Church of Christ and was a former resident of Beaumont, TX. and Whiteville, TN., before moving to the Williston Community. He was a family oriented person who enjoyed special activities with his companion and family. He was eagerly awaiting the arrival of his unborn son, Justin Robert Hammonds, Jr. His interests included nature, motorcycles and everything associated with his home state of Texas.
Mr. Hammonds is survived by his companion, April Cates of Williston his two daughters: Cheyenne Hammonds of Nederland, TX and Harleigh Rose Hammonds of Williston; his son, Brendon Andrew Cates of Williston; his father Michael Joe Hammonds, his sister Sonya Miller of Nederland TX.; his brother Arlie Hammonds of Beaumont, TX; Maternal grandmother Edra Bogucki of Beaumont, TX; Paternal grandmother Wilma Dean Hammonds of Nederland, TX; his future father and mother-in-law: Danny and Bonnie Cates of Willison, and his future sister-in-law, Christy Wilson of Somerville.
The family requests that memorials be directed to the church, charity or organization of the donor's choice.
