Kathryne "Kathi" (Luna) Jones

Kathryne Ann "Kathi" Luna Jones, age 79, resident of Collierville, Tennessee and wife of the late Roy Phillip Jones, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, November 16, 2023.

Kathryne was born May 16, 1944 in the Topsy Community of Wayne County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Bluford “Boots” Luna and Lucy Flippo Luna. She graduated from Wayne County High School and received her nursing degree from Baptist School of Nursing. Kathi was employed at the VA Medical Center before her retirement in 2010. She was of the Church of Christ faith and enjoyed reading, cooking, traveling, especially cruises, and special times with her family.

Mrs. Jones is survived by her daughter, Heather Ann Turner (Tim); her son, Phillip Allen Jones (Jennifer); and five grandchildren, Allen Turner, Sara Turner, Madelyn Jones, Aaron Jones and Katelyn Dix. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Edward Luna, Willard Luna and Delbert Luna.

Memorial Services for Mrs. Jones were held at 1 P.M. Saturday, November 25, 2023 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland.
