Kenneth Ray White

Arlington, Tennessee

Kenneth Ray White, age 79, resident of Arlington, Tennessee and husband of Mamie White, departed this life Sunday evening, June 30, 2024 at Magnolia Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Kenneth was born August 12, 1944 in Memphis, Tennessee, the son of the late J.B. White and Beatrice Whitehorn White. He was employed as a line lead at Hart’s Bakery for over 20 years and at TDOT as a mechanic for over 30 years before his retirement. Kenneth was a farmer for many years and was a member of Gratitude United Methodist Church in Arlington.

Mr. White was married August 20, 1965 to Mamie Sides White. He enjoyed hunting, gardening and being with his dog, Charlie. Family was very important to him and he would do anything for his family. His grandchildren were a very special part of his life.

Mr. White is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mamie White; his daughter, Renee Citrone (Noel); his son, Daniel White; his sister, Betty Sharpe (John); his brother, Terry White; his grandchildren, Michaela and Alic Brigham, Austin and McKayla White, Savannah and Jared Fralick, Madison Citrone and Collin Grove, and Mackenzie Citrone; and his great-grandchildren, Sonny Fralick, Billy Fralick and Briggs White.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Hardee.

A visitation for Mr. White will be from 1 until 2 P.M. Friday, July 5, 2024 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland. Funeral Services will be at 2 P.M. Friday, July 5, 2024 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Bro. Mike Hollaway, pastor of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Rossville, officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be Daniel White, Noel Citrone, Austin White, Alic Brigham, Jared Fralick, Collin Grove, Richie Bryant, Tyler Wood and Anthony Jones.
